We advise you to eat carefully and not experiment much as this can spoil your holiday. From which ever part of India you are coming, first step is to reach Patiala. By Train:
You can get down at any of these 3 stations – Ambala Junction, Sirhand Junction and Rajpura Junction depending on the type of train you are travelling. However the major railway station is Ambala Junction. All most all the trains that enter North India, stops at Ambala Junction. Secondly Ambala Station is located right on the NH1 also known as GT Road which is the major highway connecting North India to rest of the country.
Take a Bus to PATIALA from any of these 3 stations – Ambala Junction, Sirhand Junction and Rajpura Junction. All 3 stations are very well connected with frequent bus service to Patiala.
Ambala to Patiala is approximately 56 kms.
Sirhand to Patiala is approximately 34 kms.
Rajpura to Patiala is approximately 30 kms.
From Patiala board any bus going towards Sangrur/ Barnala or Bathinda. Make sure you ask the bus conductor to help you deboard at Channo Bus stop which is roughly 27 km from Patiala.We will pick you up from Chano Bus Stop

By Air:
Nearest Airport is Chandigarh International Airport which is 95 km and New Delhi Airport which is 270 km.
From Delhi Airport you can take Metro to Delhi ISBT (bus terminal). There are plenty of AC VOLVO and Non AC buses every hour to Patiala.
From Chandigarh airport you can take a free bus shuttle to ISBT and then take a bus to patiala. You can also hire a taxi.
From Patiala board any bus going towards Sangrur/ Barnala or Bathinda. Make sure you ask the bus conductor to help you deboard at Channo Bus stop which is roughly 27 km from Patiala.
